I have been catching up on some paperwork today,  then  took my car in for it's MOT this afternoon.  It passed, thank goodness, and they charged me  £45.
I will book the annual service after the insurers repair and return it next week.

Excellent new Mups.  Apart from anything else, it confirms the damage to your wing didn't make it a write off.  😊👍

I am around 30-40 mins from Brighton..
I don't need the sea either.. We have many lakes in my area..

Thanks Dex.  I must say I was very relieved about the MOT.

Yeah, and actually,  I am going back to the dentist for a final check this very morning,  12 o/clock.

We have many lakes in my area..

We have thousands. In potholes. The council do seem to be slowly filling them now though. Just thinking - I wonder if that's because we voted Reform in. Could be I reckon.

I don't know for sure that that is why. What is true is we got a Reform council...

and the other thing that's true is I've seen potholes being repaired. One across the road from me was done. What's more they did it at night rather than bugger everybody about with temporary lights on one of the main routes into town along with several schools worth of traffic.

I never put those two together until I had a dig at the potholes (no pun intended) and remembered seeing more than one lot of work being done recently

Get out with yer paint brush Klondy, paint potholes white then put a red cross on it - soon be mended.

For years I thought those spray cans had stuff in that mended the holes. Except it never did. It just wore away.
