I asked Gemini AI to make one for you and uploaded it using my admin account.

You can upload any images yourself that meet the size and type requirements it says on the page here  https://letschat.club/index.php?action=profile;area=forumprofile There are some stock avatars to chose from too so don't get excited if you come across posts from George Clooney

I have hidden your step ladders now,  so you can't keep meddling with it.

Where's our Scrumpy gone this week?
Does anyone know if she is alright?

klondike

Last Post 3rd nothing in posts leading up suggesting she was either visiting or ill. Not sure if she keeps regular contact with anybody.

I will try and contact her today, see if she's alright.

In the meantime,  a little puzzle for everyone:

A farmer has a field in which he keeps sheep and ducks.
All of his sheep have four legs, and all of his ducks have two legs.
He installs a new fence to keep the animals in.  The shape of the fences means he can only see the heads and legs of his animals when is counting them.

When he counts all the animals at the end of the day,k he counts 40 heads and 136 legs.
How many sheep and how manu ducks are in the field?

klondike

He needs to drill a hole in the fence.

Only if none of the ducks were taking a ride on a sheep. Not to mention any 3 legged sheep. That's why he needs to drill a hole in the fence.

Not to mention he must be a short sighted farmer if he can't see the difference between sheep legs and duck legs. If he couldn't he might be including the dog that must have been driving them past. Plus some might have gone round twice. No - the more I think about it the more he needs that hole in the fence.

Big pile up on my street this morning. It's a hill, cars parked both sides, and the rain had turned to a sheet of ice.  Our car was missed by inches, but there were seven or eight that were at odd angles, one had slid into a wall, our neighbour's had a wee bit of damage.  One guy had a huge lump on his head, he went off in an ambulance, the police were there too.   The younger neighbours have gritted, I hope it's not as bad tomorrow. 🤞🏼
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Goodness,  that sounds pretty bad, Granny.
Do the gritters come round your way?   I haven't seen one this year around here.
Hope no one was too badly injured,  and glad you are alright.

I remember when they used to have big grit bins along the side of roads for us to use,  but I haven't even seen one of those for years.

For those members who have a printer with their computers,  may I ask you if  you buy the official makers ink cartridges,  or 'compatible' ones?

My Canon printer cartridges are so expensive,  I am thinking about trying the compatible ones,  but don't know if they any good?   Cheap things are often cheap for a reason.

klondike

If it's black and white you mostly print they will be fine. If its colour you may notice a difference but all inkjet printed photos fade faster than store printed ones. If you have a lot to print the store ones can work out cheaper too as photopaper can  be expensive.

I got fed up with cartridge costs and switched to an ecotank type which have tanks for each colour.  They hold a lot more ink than the cartridges and checking Amazon it looks like they are cheaper now than when I bought some.

Another approach is paying monthly for a set number of pages. I think that's HP as it wouldn't suit me i never investigated.
