The bit that was hurting for no obvious reason this morning was my left upper arm.

That is getting considerably better now of its own accord but the upper right has started to twinge a bit. Doubtless both will be OK tomorrow.

Looking forward to life's next mystery tomorrow morning. Remember if nothing twinges in the morning it's likely time for the undertaker if you are anything like me. Those twinges are to let you know you survived the night.

Pain tells you that you are still alive.... :yell:

That sounds exactly the same as I get,  only its the right upper arm with me.
The bone hurts if you press on it,  does yours?  Not the muscle,  its the bone that hurts.

Eventually mine got so bad last winter that eventually I couldn't lift it, or move it backwards,  which made getting dressed/undressed,  getting my t.shirt off  over my head,  and lifting anything almost impossible.

It was finally diagnosed as a Rotator Cuff problem, (look it up),    it sometimes happens in us oldies apparently.
I had a steroid injection into my upper arm done,  and it was brilliant - pain gone and arm movement back to normal.

I think that was around last February,  but unfortunately it's starting again.  The GP referred me to Physio, and she has requested another injection.

First time I've had that one Mups. It was my right shoulder the other day. As I said every day a new joy. If I worried about them the doc would have me down as a hypochondriac and I wouldn't be able to get in the front door for bottles and boxes of meds.

Time will tell, Klondike.  It will continue to get worse if it is that.

If it is not your rotator cuff,  maybe you've been overdoing it at the gym?

Not been for several days -
Wednesdays I don't go.
Thursday somebody coming.
Yesterday too busy on other stuff or more likely didn't feel like it.
Today and tomorrow - I avoid weekends - gym too busy.

Does the bone from shoulder to elbow ache if you press on it?
Anyway like I said,  you will know over the coming weeks.
Best of luck.

I think it's just muscle pain. Probably was the gym.
