Aft'noon all, on yet another grey, dismal day. There is even talk about more gales later in the week.

I had a lovely lie in today, even my doggies slept in, and didn't wake me. Gertie just jumped on me for a two-minute cuddle, and then went back to sleep.

Anyone got an super-exhiliarating day planned today?
I am having dinner with George Clooney actually, so beat that.

Raining here today and quite cold. The joiner didn't turn up to fit my door on Saturday, so it's a bit chilly sitting watching telly 'doorless' thank goodness for these hoodies.

Good morning all, on this sunny, pleasant day - so far.

The cooker-mending man has finally got the part for my oven and is coming to mend it around 11 a.m.

I went though my doctor's online system.

It came back with a response offering an appointment. Great I thought now I don't have to listen to their annoying wait music constantly asking me if I know I can do all this online.

I clicked the button to make an appointment. After a longish delay it came up with an error. I tried again. Same. The error said phone the doctors.

Right now I am listening to their annoying wait music constantly asking me if I know I can do all this online. My queue position has been 3 for at least the last 5 minutes.

Hope the sun hasn't gone by the time I get to go out. Come to that I hope I don't get cut off which does sometimes happen.

Only 12 minutes? I have been waiting for 22.43 mins at the mo, and still 3rd in the queue.

I wish they would change the awful repetitive music too, instead of the same bit of music repeatedly all this time. Drives me nuts.

It isn't really hold music - more an annoying tingly jingle with constant interruptions telling you that if you are having a heart attack hang up and call 999, if you want a repeat prescription tough, how much easier it would be if you did it online etc. along with where you are in the queue then more of the same annoying jingle.
