Good morning all.    Nearly lunchtime already.
I slept and slept last night,  and feel much better for it.

My Son and DIL just rang to say they are home from holiday, and are popping over shortly.  I might try and persuade him to cut the grass for me while he's here.

Yellow weather warnings for tomorrow and Monday here.   Doesn't look good.

I am so chuffed.. I have reseeded the lawn (grass)..
It was in a bad state.. Over the last week or so I have raked all the dead stuff out..
Forked over the many. many, many bald spots..
This morning I mixed a BIG bag of seed with.. Six bags of compost.. Scattered and raked..
 :yahoo: :yay: :yay:
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Excellent.  Time for a bit of growth before it gets really cold.  I'll be working on my lawn this week too.

I did read that Sept-Oct was the best time to reseed... Before the frost gets a grip..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Now should be just about right, Scrumps.   And all this rain forecast for the next couple of days should water it in nicely.    Well done.

No rain here.. Boring bloody day..
I saw a beautiful red fox in the garden earlier.. having a drink from the bird bath..
I grabbed phone.. pressed camera..
It was nowhere to be seen.. I am never quick enough to get a picture..
Oh! well .. you win some... you lose some..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

It's cold and miserable today.
Won't be painting the gate after all.

Dextrous63

Isn't it just.  Was going to scarify and remove some weeds from the lawn today so I could feed and dress it later this week.

Too wet for that now.

Might just have to have the heating on for the first time tonight,  can't get warm today.

Not looking forward to the gales forecast tonight and tomorrow either.
Autumn seems to have come so suddenly this year.

Michael Rolls

just turned the heating on low
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Commissioned mine yesterday. Still not found those pliers should anybody have read the account and be wondering. I would have another look but am a bit wary of what I might find.

Have just put the heating on now.  Mrs Dex will be back home soon, so it's a pre-emptive strike.  Personally, I'm happy to just put a fleece on.
