Good morning good people.    A nice sunny start to the day here.

I am off to the Vet in a mo, she wants to have a look at a wart on Gertie's paw with a view to removing it  -  (the wart that is,  not her paw).
I wouldn't normally bother about a wart,  but Gertie keeps chewing it and making it inflamed, so best get it looked at.
More expense! 

A bit like children.. They cost money... Whatever their age..

Just cut one of my hedges.. and the lead of the trimmer..  
Ordered a cordless on Amazon .. got a bargain too.. 
I only have two hedges.. They were getting very tall so I had them cut down to a height that I could easily manage.. I only cut them twice a year.. 
Looking forward to having a cordless (lightweight)..

My mum's cousin who lived in England took up Morris dancing.  The rest of the family, all Scots in Scotland, thought he was well weird!

He was very active in the Morris movement around Newcastle. ☺️ Quite different to some of the expat Scots in England who run Caledonian societies, where kilts and Scottish Country dancing feature heavily.

It's all in the legs and wrists apparently, firm well rounded calves and flexible wrists I gather, sounds a tad gay to me.

Odd that those activities are not treated as a joke as is Morris dancing by all except the initiates. Both are really much of a muchness when it comes down to it.

The sun is shining here this morning      I'm still cleaning after having a room re plastered, I've bought some sugar soap so hoping it will be easier today.
