If you find they were I'll be pestering any prospective councillors that come knocking to organise a marathon here. Perhaps a monthly event.

I don't know why they need to close down roads anyway.  Surely they could find off road routes and use all those lovely new cycle lanes that have been constructed?  After all, cyclists hardly ever use them so it won't really bother anyone.

A friend has suggested rats !!!

The rats needed glasses too then.

TBH I'd go more with a fox as there is a load of debris there. Foxes pong so have a good sniff.

There wa a man running in the The London Marathon this morning with a fridge ( not sure what make) but the Marathon is like 26 miles which is a very long extension cable. I suppose it could be battery operated but there were water stations along the route, so I really didn't see the poin

Sod's Law once again dictates.  One of my flats seemed to have developed a leak, and was dripping water to a flat downstairs.  As luck would have it, my tenant was away and I had to wait a couple of hours for him to give permission for me and a maintenance fella to go in.

Weirdly, the plughole screw had worked its way loose, so it was an easy fix (for a change).

But the Sod's Law, apart from being a Sunday, was the fact that I couldn't drive the whole way to the flat and had to walk the last half mile due to....the blooming Manchester Marathon closing down a shed load of roads, including the one on which my flat is situated.

Alex... My friend had her garden shoes stolen overnight.. They were found in tatters at the bottom of the garden.. She had foxes and cubs in her garden..

I think there was a bit of a run in our local park yesterday.. So many dresses and shorts walking around..
The traffic didn't seem to be affected..
I think it is brilliant when people get together for an event.. There is a fair at the bottom of my road .. They have been coming here for many years.... I haven't noticed any problems..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Having followed the recipe to the letter, which involved cooking the thing for around 15 hours, I put the cat soup into a little bowl and offered it to him.

He gave it one look, one sniff and then...walked away with disdain.

Little bugger.  Back to Asda for some more sachets..🤬🤬
