It's been over an hour and a half since you typed that Mups.  Have you managed to finish the lengthy procedure of getting ready yet?

Ours is closed until New Year! 😥 Change of ownership.

We're off to our son's today.  Daughter, son in law and granddaughter came on Sunday.  Nice to see them all in the same week!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

That's right Scrumpy,  it takes time to prepare oneself properly.    -  Ooh, and don't forget the flannel on the pillow incase of dribbling.

Us ladies are not like those men,  who are known to jump into bed without so much as quick wash, and still wearing yesterdays's socks and underpants.     :embarrassed:

I went to the shops today, roads were pretty quiet.  I got a turkey crown in the Asda for half price at a tenner.
Then realised they've been defrosted so I won't be able to put it in the freezer. need to cook it then freeze, what a bummer  That'll teach me, I should have stayed home.

Plenty of bargains around.. They were selling fresh turkey crowns in Morrisons for a tenner .. But only to loyalty card holders..
Richard , my SIL , bought a fresh turkey from local butcher 70 pounds.. !!!!!!  Silly money..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
