Excellent.  Just checking😬

Mups

I'm just having my second cup of tea.
Is that boring enough?

More boring than that I'm thinking about brewing up.

Boiler all up and running?  Bank account suitably depleted?

klondike

Boiler running fine. They haven't had a penny yet.

Car filled up. Fully expecting a decrease of 20p a litre in fuel duty to boost the economy.

One thing that does puzzle me is why the economy is boosted both by minimum wage earners having more monet in their pockets and me having £200 less? A mystery for sure.

Alex

Just cooked some leeks in a cream sauce, to go with pork chops very tasty.

Who remembers when Halloween was just a word on a calendar of similar worth of a mention as a Saint's day. It seems now to have gone way over the top. Tricky to get all the bits in from the same side of the road. I'll get one from the other side later.

Waste of time as it happens. Hey Ho.

Mups

It's getting colder.   I can feel it changing.
It'll soon be woolly drawers and liberty bodice time.

Well, I can only assume that you put all the stuff there in the first place, including the pink knickers hanging from the bedroom window!

Is that a trick or a treat? 😳

GrannyMac

'Guising' was a tradition when I was a child in Scotland. Went round neighbours dressed up, reciting a poem, or singing a song, and if we were lucky we might get a sweet or biscuit!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Went past again and took a photo from across the street. Saw others on my walk but I think this one outdid he others by quite a margin.

Scrumpy

I think it is great..
I can't work out what the pink thing is hanging from the window..
We have a ghost standing in a garden nearby.. A hood over its head but no face..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..
