The article in the link below is a good example of the way that illegal immigrants are being portrayed as victims.

The actual article is about housing regulations being relaxed so that illegal immigrants can get private rental houses ahead of ethnic Brits.

Similar idea to my solution. Only difference being I'd use tents. Better surround them with razor wire fences to to protect the poor vulnerable folk from wild animals too. Those rabbits can be dangerous. Maybe a few machine gun towers to keep them at bay.

The parallel increase in regulation is predicted to cause a mass sell up of properties by small landlords.

Also a lot are selling up before the no fault Section 21 evictions are scrapped.

I couldn't care less about the conditions that these illegals are housed in, my worry is for the neighbours of these properties.  If you are unlucky enough to live in a house next door to a HMO with no regulations or safety checks with dodgy gas appliances  and there is a gas leak you are in danger of an explosion, we have seen a couple of cases recently.

There is only one way to deal with these people and that is send them to Rwanda or anywhere else come to that so long as they are not here, better still send them back to their countries of origin.  If we can't do that, put them on cruse ships or barges out in the sea keep them there so they can not come ashore.  We have enough problems of our own, we don't want these young men wandering freely about in this country.

I think the root cause of our problems today is the lack of any deterrence, in fact the real problem is that we seem to offer more attractions than anywhere else in Europe (or the world):
- hotels or houses rather than tents;
- we don't have ID cards, unlike just about every other country;
- we send boats out into the Channel especially to collect any of them sailing our way;
- we offer free healthcare, money, food, etc., to a greater extent than we offer some of our indigenous people.

Having managed to attract so many, and are continuing to do so, I'm afraid I cannot see any end to it.  Even the EU countries seem unable to repatriate them, so what chance do we have especially having so many naive British people who can see no problem with this and would continue to welcome even more (a good example being the Archprick of Canterbury).

The government talks about Rwanda (but is afraid to actually do anything), despite the problem that for every one sent there, the agreement would be that Rwanda could send us one of their unwanted, which to me makes any such agreement rather pointless!

Our only hope for the future is to make this country sufficiently unattractive to them that they would willingly get on little boats and sail back to France!  A beginning toward such a solution appears in my list above.

I don't know what the answer is - move to Poland or Hungary perhaps ?  :grin:   What I do know is there is a rise in black/brown faces in my neighbourhood.  Houses are being snapped up, particularly the large Victorian ones.

I came home tonight, pulled into my road where a 2 bedroomed flat had been up for sale for just over a week, only to see the SOLD sign up, and the new tenants/owners standing outside.  I would guess they were Pakistani, no sign of any women of course.  I don't want my neighbourhood to change, ok I'm set in my ways but there are far too many Johnny Foreigners here for my liking. :boo:

It is, and I cannot realistically see any way out of it.

It is shameful to think what history will make of the fall of this country.  Napoleon couldn't do it.  Hitler couldn't do it.  Stalin couldn't do it.

It took millions of third-world people (with the help of our own leaders) to conquer our country.

They will come to realise what they have done, but only when it's too late. They of course will be alright as they are all well off and can move elsewhere and resettle.
It's the rest of us who'll have to deal with their mess.  :angry:

At the moment we're still in one of the 'I'm alright Jack' parts of the country, with no noticable effects of immigration, but the slow creep has already started with RAF Scampton which is only about 10 miles from us.

I think I would put an HR department in charge of asylum claims.
My last job application was rejected after one working day.
Asylum claims can take years and years.

Alex

We need immigration to be taken away from the Home Office.   A new department set up, called    ' Immigration Office' to be staffed by British citizens who don't have an immigrant background themselves.

OK I know how that sounds, I don't need anyone to tell me  :grin:  :grin:

Michael Rolls

I'd like to see it called 'Immigration Denied Office'!
