Mary's Boy Child and Scarlet Ribbons were so popular. Also the Banana Boat song. He had a lovely voice.   From such a poor childhood, its amazing he lived to 96.

I vaguely remember those 2 songs from my very early years, my mum was always singing along to the radio and those titles seem familiar.
