Daily Express 'journalists'

It really amuses me to read some of their online stories.
Today's example mentioned someone 'pouring' over catalogues!

Really, you should try it if you want some light entertainment and, of course, it's free (would anyone actually pay for it?).
Their journalists must be school children.  Their command of the English language and spelling is atrocious (I bet they can't spell that particular word either!).

The Mail seem to frequently struggle for news as does the Express. They are both on my list of quick visits but both seem to be over burdened with Harry and Meghan rubbish which I just skip.

After that the Express will usually carry a heatwave/big freeze/gales/floods story which may come about in some out of way spot but very rarely impacts me.

The Mail used to carry lots of cures cancer/causes cancer stories but of late has gone over instead to a raft of Z list celebrities exposing rather more flesh than they maybe should instead.

I used to read the Mail (online, of course, cos it's free!), but now read the Express instead.
I don't know why I bother, though, as both of those papers are rubbish.

I read the Telegraph, though, but you have to pay for that.
Actually, you don't!  I know a way around that, but you cannot post comments.

The Telegraph often gets quoted in some of the stuff I read.

How do you get round paying, I like the Telegraph  ?

I've pretty much given up reading or watching the news.  If I had to subscribe to anything, it'd probably be the Beano.

I take a look at the Daily Mail but just lately it's really turned into a boring celeberity rag .. interspersed with stuff about the royal family... and occasionally for shock effect a story about appalling animal cruelty.
I've never been to the Express online.
I think I'm losing interest in reading the news. Must be a sign of age.

Download UK News or 'UK Newspapers' on Play Store.
Not only the Telegraph, but a dozen or more others.  Whatever takes your fancy.

Mail online and Guardian. For all sorts of reasons.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Yes, the Gaurdian's quite good ... I used to like the Independent too at one time.

Alex

Thanks JBR.
I would never have taken anyone on here as a Guardian reader

I worked in local government Alex! 😄 Seriously, its all about balance.  Plus they have some good articles, as does the DM.

The Guardian used to be called the Grauniad because of the huge volume of typos and spelling mistakes.
The problem with being retired is that you never get a day off

Thanks for the link, Klondike.  I've saved it as a favourite.
