My new kettle arrived today..
It can go on a gas hob.. Decided it might be cheaper than electric kettle..
I love it.. reminds me of my mum.. and it whistles. !!!

Darkish grey.. with a chrome trim... the handle folds down.. 
It goes very well in my off white/ light grey kitchen... Light green work tops... White cabinets and drawers with grey metal handles.. 
In the corner stands a greenish old dresser that has been there for many years.... Kitchen table is old .Light wood top and painted white legs.. She has been scrubbed up many times.. Six chairs of various shapes surround her ..
The SMEG fridge freezer is off white...
