I doubt it will make much difference to the numbers.

The ones who can afford to pay the traffickers will always get here.

I just hope HMG doesn't send any of my tax money to help Afghanistan, but I suppose they will so I'll have to content myself with telling the DEC to piss-off when they come collecting.

Didn't some of us say that Afghanistan would revert as soon as the Americans left. Several countries have tried it and failed.
