Over  many years some men have become famous in the past for having amazing memories, and  although their are numerous men who had this amazing effect on remembering facts, details, or any thing past recorded,

one man stands out as David .M. Roth, he had an out standing memory to which at the point in his passing away aged 97 his memory was still as sharp , of course their was Leslie welch , amongst many others, how ever when it comes to the sexes, do women in general have a better memory than men ,as many men myself including will ask my wife at times where  is so and so or where did i last use it
and 9 times out of ten my wife usually has the answer,
what are your thoughts , and will you share them with us,

Jacqueline

My son has an amazing memory, he can remember all the things I did to upset him going back years, but none of the things I paid for or did to help him.

Sam used to say..
'I don't remember saying that'.

So I guess my memory was better than his..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

My memory is really poor and I think it's getting worse, now what was the question again  ?

my memory used to be very good, but over the last decade or so it has deteriorated greatly.

I don't think I ever had a great long term memory and huge swathes of my past are hidden. Some memories at least are still there as just occasionally something or other will trigger recollection of an episode that I hadn't thought about in decades. Not usually in great detail and I'm unsure how accurate.

Short term memory can be really shot - the go to a room and forget why syndrome or get there do something but not the thing you went to do. If you have no idea what I mean by that then you are lucky I guess.

It's good to moan.

I often find myself standing on the landing wondering what I went upstairs for.. I end up doing something else.. But I usually, at some point, remember what it was that made me go upstairs..
I am not good at remembering information concerning technical stuff.. Then all of a sudden it clicks.. But it takes a while..

Not me. I did spend all my working life doing technical stuff though. It was computer stuff from 1970 on.That was IBM mainframes though not PC or server stuff - that is all self taught (i.e. look it up on google and follow the instructions then google again when they don't work which is a lot of the time)
