Quote from: Alex on May 10, 2022, 10:35:30 AMCome on own up, how many watch this ?   I use to be an avid fan, 'we Brits' even had Eurovision parties,  I kid you not.   It became political of course and UK was always null point, or at least in the bottom three songs.

What are the odds on this year's winner,  Ukraine  ? yes even though they're at war, they're competing in the song contest and at the moment are favourites to win it.   If they do win, it will be another confirmation that the contest is a political farce.

Well they did win, surprise surprise, but guess where next year's contest will be held ?  Yep, UK another surprise, surprise.  UK will host the contest on behalf of Ukraine, I wonder who is paying for it, probably the BBC so that'll be the British tax payer then - but not me
Now to decide which city will host it, surely they can't choose London !!!

Doesn't matter where they have it, I still won't be watching as I lost interest in it years ago.

Me too - I think the last time I watched, Abba won - and even that may not have been live
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

The last time I watched it it was River Dance, how long ago was that? I couldn't tell you much about the songs though, they have to be pretty dreadful to qualify.

Our entry was great this year..Sam Ryder did us proud..
I don't watch it.. I haven't done so for many years..I find it rather boring.. Even Ukraine couldn't tweak my interest.
