My mum used Evening in Paris... She would dab it behind her ears on very special occasions .. We were given the bottle once it was empty.. We treasured it..

I recall being able to recognise Castrol R but that was for 4 strokes. Just checked Google and see you can still buy it.

Eau de Cologne.  My mum and auntie had solid perfume stick which supposedly were cooling.  Handy for ladies of a certain age.

My vintage perfume would be Coty L'aimant.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Ohhh I remember that, my eldest sister used to have it on her dressing table.
I used to love 2 of the vintage Avon perfumes. Topaz and Somewhere.

My Mum used Evening in Paris too, then it was Coty L'Aimant, I don't remember any of the others.  My first  favourite was Youth Dew

We just went into any shop and sprayed ourselves with whatever was on display.. and it wasn't always the samples.. I don't even think they did samples back then.. We would have nicked them..
We didn't use posh perfume.. that was for the rich..

My mum loved Diorissimo.
The problem with being retired is that you never get a day off
