Mups

Within the first 10 minutes of  Corrie starting tonight,  three different gay couples were on.
I wish these scriptwriters wouldn't keep pushing it on us so much.

That's pretty much what I said a few posts back to get a ticking off from Mac.  :nooo:
She must have misinterpreted what I meant in some way I can't fathom

No ticking off at all!  😁 As if.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I'll be honest if I see any program where there is an emphasis on homosexuality I tend to turn it off but in life I have known several openly gay people and even been to a gay wedding. At the wedding a couple of the gay men were flamboyant and quite fun and didn't mess with straights in any way at all. Their heads might be wired a bit differently but the rest of their personalities vary from good to bad the same as everybody else.

I can't tolerate transvestites/transexuals though and don't like Pride events or anything else along those lines. We don't have Straight events or flags.

Josh is gay.. He is always included in our 'family do's'..
One of the nicest people I have met.. He lights up a room..
Good fun... and so genuine...
He doesn't 'overact' in the effeminate way that a lot of gays do..
A couple of doors from me two women live together.. They have two children..
They are lovely neighbours and would help anyone...

It's all going on out there..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Weird!  Of course, it is only to be expected when probably the majority of people in the TV industry are homos, so naturally they will push it.  As I have said before, I don't watch the present-day Coronation Street - not for that reason, of course, but because it just isn't anything like as good as it was.

BTW, has Tracey been released from prison yet?

I may be wrong but that could just be advertising when they are touting for a possible kindred spirit. At events where they are already aware of just how kindred everybody is likely to be there is no need to advertise so they behave less camp.
