Quote from: Scrumpy on September 24, 2024, 12:07:00 PMThere are so many warnings about EVERYTHING..

The beginning of tv programs and soaps there is usually a female voice saying things like
'This program contains scenes of a delicate nature that could be upsetting to some people'..
'If you have been upset by this programe and need help' please.......'

....make your way to this place, close your eyes and take a running jump since this world is just too ghastly for the likes of you...

Yes, funny that isn't it.   You always used to see couples on telly having a fag after sex,  and sorry Scrumps,  but I can't think of anything more off-putting than someone who smokes a fag in bed.
Even many years ago when I used to be a smoker,  I would never have smoked in the bedroom,  but each to their own, I guess.

Smoking is odd. Steaming a little is surely more normal?

Quote from: Cassandra on September 24, 2024, 12:24:35 PMYes I remember this appearing on an episode of 'Noddy'. Apparently it upset the LGBT crowd by the implication that Noddy and Big Ears were gay and the fact that Big Ears had to live in a Toadstool, implied older homosexual males were unfairly represented when Social housing choices were made in Toyland and might influence the real world!

It's so funny when you really think about it ~ heavens above, the absolute Cretins

So do I.  1974 was the year I decided to leave a boring office job and join the RAF.
I was proud to take part in the forces in those days, though to be honest I feel that although the country generally is now a shambles the armed forces are still something to be proud of despite being underfunded and undermanned.
