If the conservative government had lived up to its name, and done conservative things, there would be no Reform Party and in all probability Nigel Farage would be a conservative, and it's conceivable that there would be a conservative government still.

Very true.

The Conservatives lost simply because none of them since Cameron took over have done anything to support the indigenous people of this country, and since they began losing public support their bright idea was to bring back the idiot Cameron who started this mess.

The Labour party became the government simply because of two distinct types of people in Britain: the lefties both white and non-white who think that they will be entitled to even more hand-outs; and the non-thinking people who have either always voted for Labour or believe that living under a two-party system means that we can only vote for one or the other of the two.  Worse, most don't remember the damage the Bliar and Broon caused when Labour were last in power.
