They did my road a few months back.. The potholes are starting to reappear already.. 
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

That's a complete disgrace.  As for the bull about it being "challenging" to get to the place to repair it, apart from the fact that it's really not challenging to fill a hole, it might be less challenging if they fixed and upgraded to roads!

I heard a while back, that the pot-hole firm the council employs,  are told to do a quick bodge by their employers, knowing full well they will have to do it again, and again,  so they get paid again every time they have to go back.

I have no idea if there is any truth in that,  but if so,  you would think the council would say that if the holes open up again within say . .  2 years,  the firm will have to repair the work free of charge.
I'm damn sure they would make a better job of them then!
