Abolish tax payers funded legal aid in immigration cases..
'There will be no need for lawyers'..

Tomorrow we will be doing arts and craft.. You will need some stiff board.. A permanent marker pen  a selfie.. and a rubber seal..
We are going to make identity cards..

🤣🤣🤣

I'm surprised that it has taken them so long to begin an effort to attempt to try to recoup all their lost voters.
Although I have always voted Conservative, I feel that their leadership ever since Bliar and Brown has been rather weak, probably caused by regular changes in their leadership as much as their lack of it.

I applaud them for trying, but shall certainly vote for Reform.

The perfect question to any plans they come up with is....

Why didn't you do it while you were in government.

Don't know about you, but the Tory Party seems a tad irrelevant nowadays.

That's because hardly any of them are genuine Tories

They had 14 years to fix things, there's no reason to believe a word they say now, particularly with this woman in charge.  She just talks the talk.

I believe you are correct, Dex, but to be honest, that is because they achieved very little over the 14 years they were in power.  Consequently, the average voter either automatically decided not to bother voting, or angrily voted for the obvious opposition!
I believe that most voters are now realising what they should have done!

I have always voted for Conservative..
They have let me down.. They did little to solve this (BIG) problem.
I can not see what difference a new tory leader would make.. They never bothered
when they were in power and that was only 15 months ago.. This is not a new problem.. It is a problem that has got out of hand and governments have allowed it to do so..
We need a new face and a new party.. We need someone who MIGHT get it sorted..
Could it be Farage !!!.. maybe.. It certainly wasn't our many previous leaders and the one we have at the moment is weak..

I don't think any politician knows the true meaning of the word PROMISE.. Yet it is constantly used..

This popped up in my FB Feed, made me chuckle. Sad bit is that it's true.

Yes, I believe it could.
He spoke our in our defence in the EU.  He has assured us that he will do the same as the next PM.  The main thing, of course, is that neither of the 'two main parties' (presently becoming 'two minor parties'!) have done much to benefit us ever since Bliar took over.  In addition, the polls are pretty confident that Reform will be our next government... if, indeed, there is anything left to govern.

It seems to me that the legacy parties, conservative and labour, (sometimes called the 'uniparty' due to similarities), have the same messages.

1. The other party is even worse than we are.

2. Nigel Farage is

I suppose we all realise that, (leaving aside the probability that they won't do it anyway), that removing 750,000 men over 5 years will make no difference whatsoever.

In their last year in office, the tories let in 1.2 million legal immigrants (in ONE YEAR) plus we now know they brought in half of Afghanistan and Syria, and God knows who else, in secret.

And now they would like us to vote for them again, ladies and gentlemen.
