My take is the moslem wanted to enter the synagogue and explode his bomb. Had he been able to, there would have been enormous carnage. A very brave rabbi saved many lives by preventing the moslem's entry.

You are correct, of course.  However, which other faiths in this country do this sort of thing, and how often?

Jehovah's Witnesses can be pretty bad. I bought a Watchtower once hoping they'd just go away. Big mistake. They kept coming back. Scenting blood I think. Luckily we were moving and they didn't have our forwarding address. Nor did the people we sold the place to just in case. Bloody stalkers.

Two of my mother's tenants are muslims, but there's no difference between them and us except for the fact that instead of alcolhol they drink Coca Cola and tea.
Jews, I don't know whether a Jewish family lives in our neighbourhood - on the whole religion doesn't play anymore an important role here in Germany since the fall of the wall lots of people are atheists or no longer member of any church for the one or other reason.
About fifty years ago this was different - a Catholic marrying a protestant - a scandal. Times have changed and people, too.

Unfortunately that " tiny number of loons " is growing - rapidly.

Terrible news. One of the dead worshippers and one of the wounded ones were hit by police bullets, Manchester police have confirmed

Yes, I heard.  Perhaps a copper loosing off rounds without great care.  I may be quite wrong, but the police today seem not to be trained to earlier standards.

No idea.  I read that the loon was trying to get in through the front door, which was being held shut by the two fellas who got shot.  Maybe bullets went through the timber?🤷🏻♂️

Also just seen that the loon was apparently on bail for a charge of rape.  What a charmer, eh?

Should deport all his family back to Syria
There has to be consequences to murderous behaviour .
Stop all the poisonous pro Palestine marches right away .
They are full of loons .
If the police can't handle it get in the army .

Although the family made a statement denouncing this murderous act, it seems that his father (who is a medic of domestic sort) was a strong supporter of Hamas' actions of Oct 7.

FWIW, I think there is a case to find ways of removing anyone in the UK who supports any terrorist group, since their values aren't British values and they are personae non grata.

One would have thought that a simple lie detector test of some sort for anyone claiming asylum or other rights to stay here would be a somewhat obvious thing to perform, before even booking a hotel room for them.

He called his son Jihad .
That should be a clue .
Probably brought him up to be a Jew hater .

I think that's the case although the idea that moslems should hate Jews is commonly held.

I also think the family's statement is, shall I say, a statement of convenience, given the other evidence and the boy's name.

Unfortunately they aren't all that simple which is why they aren't permissible in UK court proceedings. Bit of waterboarding maybe?   Either fit the bill for our colonial cousins of course.

Have they not refined these tests?  In any case, a refusal to take one would be an initial indication of trustworthiness and weed a few out immediately.
