In this article it said that the government intends to use trained panels instead of judges, to speed up the application process.   I remember Starmer saying the same thing over a year ago and that the backlog would be cleared by Christmas 2024.

Once again, utter bullshit.

Regardless how fast the claims are processed they don't report most of those that fail anyway. Perhaps the failure get relegated to 3 star hotels?

That's the problem all along, when they are not in government they can say what they like and promise the earth. However if voted in on these wonderful promises they then have to face reality, and realise they can't do it after all. Starmer's a prime example.  :waiting:
Now Farage is putting on a wonderful show, but what will he do when he gets in and can't follow through. I'm so wary of that man it's nerve wrecking.

This sounds more worrying than simply bullshit.  'Trained panels', presumably trained in Labour policies, rather than independent judges?  What could go wrong?
Following Labour policies, I can foresee these 'trained panels' accepting all of the invaders as friends and benefits to the country, and they will all be admitted, given citizenship and the vote!
I can imagine which party they would vote for.  A perfect means of ensuring permanent Labour governments.

IIRC, Starmer made the claim after he was elected.  He also said it'd take a year to get everything in place to reduce the level of immigration and smash the gangs.

That's going well.🙄

He can't do any worse than Starmer.  At least he can communicate.  Lee Anderson seems like someone who 'gets it' too.  Ex Labour MP.  We could do with another Maggie.

I prefer to listen to Ben Habib and Rupert Lowe

If Reform get in and can't fix it, then at least we'll know it can't be done, which will be something.
