I was talking about this with my daughter yesterday and she mentioned that the report had changed from stationary to moving. 

You have to admit that ambulances are really difficult to see though so that maybe explains the conflicting reports and how he ran into it. Or maybe not.

The thing about ambulances are they can camouflage themselves like a chameleon. If you know it's there, you can see it easily but if you don't look for it you could miss it. Or hit it I suppose.

Eh? Someone who can't see an ambulance, or for that matter a fuzz mobile, really shouldn't be on the road. In over 50 years of driving. I never failed to spot either

Yesterday's Telegraph was still reporting the ambulance as stationary and used the pejorative 'chasing' word - clearly behind the curve
