It's amazing in a way how the Islamists have infiltrated taken over the Green Party .
Even got a man who claims he has Jewish heritage to be the face of it .
But this man is dangerous .
God forbid he ever gets into a position of power , he already is in a position of influence .
It is a mystery to me how anyone with more than two brain cells will follow a man like this who does not ( as the Islamists do ) have an ulterior motive .

If anyone still thinks this is the party of treehuggers and care for the environment they are delusional .

Some wild flowers are so lovely although classed as weeds .
I have loads of Mallow in my garden and Corn Cockles  and little wild violets .
Poppies grow  everywhere I love them .

However some weeds / plants are terribly invasive .
They usually have come from some other country ( probably by the Victorians )
Like Winter Heliotrope which is practically impossible to eradicate and is presently lifting  up the pathway that runs alongside my house .
Also rife in my area is Himalayan Balsam which is a really lovely flower but has invaded all the canals and rivers . It fires its seed up to 10 ft away so is very hard to get rid of, it likes the U.K. probably coming from the Himalayas it thinks it's in the Caribbean ! 

It's the go to answer for everything that goes wrong .
It always the Jews 
They are too rich / too clever / colonisers / invaders / whatever else you like to pin on them .
I am surprised they haven't been blamed for global warming and the demise of the polar bear !

Perhaps we should take our hats off to weeds in a bizarre sort of way.
All the nurturing we do with plants we want to keep,   yet the weeds get  attack after attack from us,  plus they survive floods, freezing cold,  droughts and heatwaves.   Tough cookies indeed.

Anti semitism really is something I simply don't understand. It can have nothing to do with Gaza because it predates the place by centuries. I can only surmise there must be some religious  reason. Trying to understand anything based on religion is, at least for me, an exercise in futility.

I rarely use mine now. Nor do I use the butane one I have much either. Both work but are slow to use. My weeding is killing the weeds that come up through the cracks in my block paving. Chemical weedkillers are quite expensive and also leave unsightly stains along the cracks where they are sprayed or at least the ones I tried did.

There are better materials to fill the cracks but it's a lengthy job, probably expensive and I'm not confident would last long enough to justify the cost and effort.

I tried a mix of bleach washing up liquid and salt. That worked but if the sprayer is not really well cleaned out it destroys the seals in the pump. I'm currently using 20% white vinegar diluted by 50% instead of the bleach. It gives a quick knockdown but I don't know yet how long it will last. The main advantage of spraying is that it is fast and those mixtures are cheaper than commercial weedkillers.

The war continues. Of course the weeds will win the in the end when I can no longer engage them but meanwhile I show no mercy.

But unbelievably while  some Holocaust  survivors are still alive  it's all sparking up again.

British Jews are living in fear ( what other sector of society needs security guards on primary schools ? )

And the sound of some Keyffiah swathed idiot screaming "free Palestine " makes me feel quite sick .
( usually by some middle aged middle class women and maybe her unemployed  privileged kids fresh off the fun flotilla  ) 

I am pleased that increasingly countries are banning the chants of "globalise the intifada ' 
We should do it here like yesterday .
