Edna decided to change her style
And she  met Dave at Bingo after a while
She was blonde with a streak of blue
She used to be brown with a grey hue
He was sitting with his brother, Kyle.

Dave shuffled over and offered her a seat
While Kyle said it was a good place to meet

Quote from: GrannyMac on Yesterday at 12:23:53 PMMups, I use three vowels first word, two second word, none in third word, just a 'y'. Letters like s,r,d,n,t,h,p.

Well reading that,  I can see I've misunderstood yet again.

I thought I would be clever and googled some words using vowels,  then chose 5 of them.
Thinking about it now,  I guess its obvious why I kept using all the same letters!

Oh dear . . .   there's no hope for me, is there.

Quote from: klondike on Yesterday at 02:27:12 PMIt's in Wordle game settings

It's called Hard Mode because the easiest way to solve it in the 6 allowed is to reveal letters as either in or out of the word. Using letters you already know forces you to guess the solution with less revealed information because reusing letters you have already revealed gives less information than using different letters.

I only repeat one letter in my standard 3 + 1 reserve That's 4 words used and only 7 letters not revealed with those being the less frequently used ones - Q and Z for starters.

It's easy enough to post up a 2 every day or even a 1 every day but actually solving it in 6 isn't much harder.

Thankyou for taking time to explain all that Klondike.
I think I could learn Chinese quicker though.   :worried:

Never mind,  the main thing is I still  enjoy trying, ey.

Farage is well aware of that and I said a few days back that I wasn't keen on too many Tories but Reform is a bit stuck - they need people with some experience in the actual job of being a government so the pot will 100% have to include some old faces.

I saw a video by Andrew Neil yesterday - he says there is some well known ex-Labour MP rumoured to be on his way to Reform. The phrase ex-Labour MP says it isn't a current one. Perhaps it's Andy Burnham
