That comment spurred me into nipping up the road to take a photo. This junction is virtually never free of a hole sometimes very deep ones. By the time they turn up to fix one there is another starting. At one point they did do a big patch but that is now overlaid by a patchwork of small repairs. It doesn't show well in the picture but a fresh hole is appearing at the edge of an old repair before the latest patch has lost its newly done look.

This junction gets a hammering as there is a school just up the road and impatient parents trying to make it onto the main road seem to all be budding drag racer stars. Or possibly already are as the Santa Pod drag track is quite near.




Just to be clear the yellow arrows were added to the pictute by me. They are not the magic spray paint that many councils seem to think actually repair the holes.

I fear I'd be described as one and I don't even like the term 'elderly'. I'm an older person, thank you very much.

We are the pensioners, we were the core of PF for years til it all went a bit pear shaped.  We need the footfall here.

It was my birthday last week, I've had a weekend away in Leicestershire at a lovely spa, with my daughter and daughter in law and some friends.  Fabulous place, we've been going for quite a few years, it's a real treat.  Unfortunately the facial, lovely as it was, hasn't knocked thirty years off! 

Back to normality (whatever that is) now, but can't complain.  Had some blood results, I'm no longer pre-diabetic   and the postie brought me news of a small win on the Premium Bonds

Today I sorted out a new Will .. I also set up Power of Attorney.... Just in case.. Bloody costly..
I believe it is worth sorting out .. It can be a damned nuisance for anyone trying to run another's finances..

Has anyone else on here set up Power of Attorney..?
