General Discussion / Re: Tommy Robinson

Thats a letter from one individual. That makes me sceptical.  Don't get me wrong, I think there's a hell of a lot wrong with the attitudes of many Muslims, but Kashmir was run by India, even though there were more Muslims than Hindus or anyone else.  Lots of history there, and perhaps parallels with some other countries.

Far more Muslims were killed too: https://www.satp.org/satporgtp/countries/india/states/jandk/data_sheets/religious_identity_civilians_killed_in_militancy.htm

Quote from: JBR on Yesterday at 03:56:50 PMAnd Tommy has been criticised and condemned for being a troublemaker.

If people don't take heed of the warnings he has given, and the warning signs here in this country that we should all now be aware of, we shall suffer exactly that which the Kashmiris suffered over 30 years ago.

Why hasn't this letter been published for all to read?
Point 1 he is just a thug in a suit
Point 2 the same rhetoric that came out of the mouth of Enoch Powell..'rivers of blood'
Point 3 maybe because it isn't true?

Vlad exits stage left, reloading his magazine and adjusting his body armour.

Quote from: dextrous63 on Yesterday at 06:04:14 PMI am speaking to you from the Cabinet Room at 10, Downing Street.

This morning the British Ambassador in Moscow handed the Russian Government a final Note stating that unless we heard from them by 11 0'clock that they were prepared at once to withdraw their troops from Ukraine a state of war would exist between us. I have to tell you now that no such undertaking has been received, and that consequently this country is at war with Russia.
Oh dear.
I bet the Russians are trembling in their boots.  🙄

Just watching Nigel Farage's programme shown on GB News yesterday evening (still available online), in which he showed a bar graph of deportations of illegal immigrants over the past several years.

The numbers deported each year since Bliar were high for several years during Labour governments and then, after Cameron took over began to fall, the numbers decreasing seriously when May was the PM and down to virtually nothing today.  Of course this period included the time when we left the EU.

Although people who have seen this graph may be induced to vote for Labour, I'm sure it is a definite condemnation of the failings of the Conservative government throughout the past 24 years.
