It could have been a disaster. I took a flyer on BUDDY with only the U Y and unused letters to go on. Looking at it again I think GROUT was the biggest gamble but even if it was wrong it gave me 3 common unused letters. Could have been DROUT but they've used GROUT before.

Well done Scrumpy and klondike!  I thought a 9 impossible in rescue today.
