Quote from: klondike on Yesterday at 04:49:07 PMI saw that somewhere earlier in a distance shot and it is enormous. Too much attention to history there imo. They need to move on.

Do you mean in NI as a whole ?  Or is there a history to this massive bonfire that I haven't read about ? Just interested.....

I like to give positive feedback when it's due.  Likewise crap service gets a mention. 🙄

Yes, that's fair enough I agree.

It's just when we are expected to fill in a flippin'  questionnaire about every single thing we buy nowadays that I get fed up.

Remember him?    He died whilst on holiday last summer.
I always liked him, and thought his death was very sad.

He may not be everyone's cup of tea,  but one thing I admired about him was, he didn't just spout on telling everyone what to do,  he explained everything well,  and he actually tried things out on himself first,  so he had experience and knew what it was like.    I don't know anyone else that does that.

He devised the 5:2 Diet,  which I have tried myself.  It  made sense,  it works, and is good.

Channel 4 is starting a new series by him.  It begins next Monday at 8 o/clock,  for 6 episodes.

The first week it is about us ageing well,  and how our brains work, and living a longer, healthier life.
I think that might be interesting. I am looking forward to seeing his work again.
