Mine was Bread. I got it in 3. Luck?  Yes but you need to make some too.

H and K are rare letters. I is not that common a vowel.

My BREAD wasn't ideal either as B isn't common but it gave 3 of the letters with one in the right place. I was lucky.

My worst day yet. I took 5 although one try was a silly waste. Maybe it's because it's more of a "woman" word.

As people seem to like this sort of game I've promoted the "Interactive Games" out from "The Games Room" to a main board and put a sticky where people can link to games they find they think worth sharing.  I'll harvest the ones already mentioned in this thread. It will make a handy reference for any newcomers or others who miss this thread as it will stay prominent.

Not much of one unless you are psychic. Psychotic I'll accept but not psychic. 

I must get around to making that game work with tablets. I can probably lift some of the code needed from the similar one in the links.

A good one to pick if playing hangman is whisky few ever get that. With 6 they can't use it though.
