I've got an A Level in boiled egg burning

All my own fault, I should have stayed in the kitchen while they cooked, but no, I went through and onto the computer. Totally forgot about them till I heard a bang as they had boiled dry and one exploded.  [2010]

I've got a filtered tap that I use for filling the coffee  machine. When watched it takes an age. If you turn your back for a moment to do something else the tap speeds up and it's all over the worktop.

I have a hot milk pan that does the same..
You can get them cheap at Asda.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Years back we bought a non stick frying pan cheap on the local market. Just frying up some bacon and eggs caused the coating to lift off.

We took it back. The stallholder looked at it and said "ere you've been getting this hot." He refused a refund til I stood in front of the stall waving the pan and telling the world what a load of old crap he was selling. The refund came quickly then.

If you balance a wooden spoon on a pan of milk it won't boil over.

First cuppa here too. Going out to buy some compost later.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

What sort of soon do you need to stop it boiling dry? That's the one for the egg pan.

Silly Billy.  For that you need to plumb in a small float valve

Genius. You could patent that and set up a company plumbing them in.

More pressing issue to deal with instead of massaging an ego😉

Time to make Mrs Dex a toasted cheese and bacon sandwich (I spread mayo on the outside of the bread before dry frying them, then put the filling on top and use the grill to cook before closing up to make the sandwich)

Alex

Cheese ad Baconn on fried bread ?     delicious..

Still mild here. 18C outside now. Have had a few spots of rain though. I wasn't expecting any here but we are just on the edge it seems.
