The boring thread.....

Second visit to the health and wellbeing councillor. Maybe I'll find out what it is about today. I suspect a weight loss program of some sort although he did mention excercise would be unlikely to reduce my weight he also talked about activities so I'm puzzled.

I found that the new blood test booking system and nearly 3 week wait for the appointment hadn't improved the chaos in the place. People were arriving both early and late  from what I overheard most were blaming the abysmal hospital parking. I bussed to town and walked to avoid it and arrived 20 minutes early. You just get seen in turn anyway as I was out before my appointment time. The phlebotomist was chatty and seemed in no huge rush. I suspect boredom rather than my animal magnetism.

Hospital parking.. :nooo:
I have a Mammogram coming up soon.. It is like organizing a bloody battle invasion..  Parking is horrendous.. The cost of parking is unbelievable..

I usually get my mate to drop me off.. while he cruises the car park.. When I return he is usually still waiting for a space..
And they have the audacity to charge for cruising..
The mobile mammogram unit is stationed next to the car park.. Frustrating..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Cruising the street is free....

When the van comes here it gets parked up either in Tesco's or Lidil's Carparks. lots of free parking and easy access.

Me too, Scrumpy,  every three years.
Like you say,  you only have to phone up and book it.
Not exactly a fun day out is it,  but it's good to get the all clear.  [2090]

Hi Everyone - the forecast says it will be cool today but hot tomorrow so I will make the most of today.  Going to do some shopping for a neighbour - she has had injections in both hands and cannot drive or carry things for a while.  Then, I just might go into the garden - talk to the bees, scare few weeds - that sort of thing.  Going to make a spaghetti carbonara for tonight's dinner - does that count as exercise?

Cloudy here today.. I cut one of my hedges yesterday.. Looking out of the window i notice that the bloody thing is well crooked..

Hello everyone. It is dull and humid here today - not very nice.

I am in 'sorting things' mode - it probably won't last but, while it does, I am making the most of it. Craft stuff mainly - anything, beit tools, dies, stamps, punches, paper pads, that have not been used in the last 18 months are going out!

I have two friends who work with children with learning difficulties and they are always looking for different ways to keep the childrens interest - so am filling a box each for them. Am also filling a box for friend Mary - new to crafting and finding it a bit expensive, so it will help her to have a few fun bits to play with. Lastly two bags - one for Cats Protection charity shop - and one for rubbish. Can hardly move in my Craft Room for piles of things waiting to be sorted, or in my Sitting Room for boxes/bags of stuff already sorted!!

Whose stupid idea was this - I need tea, now!!
