When there is no snow they'll say it's global warming. Now it's an extreme weather event caused by global warming.

Damned bright sun again. It sets off the IR motion detector that says somebody is comint to the door. Third morning on the trot now. It's hell down south 

Bugger. Thought I'd turned it off. Wrong switch. It went off again and I thought it was my burglar alarm.

The wind has just grabbed one of my wheelie bins hoping to take it away.. but I was there like a flash... Put them tightly up against the hedge..

This is already the heaviest snowfall we have had for at least two years, and there is clearly more to come. Three and a half hours so far and no sign of it letting up. I am already going to need wellies just to get to the garage freezers, but thankfully don't actually need to go there
