Animal Music

Granny you mention Crossroads.. that prog was written just for Noel Gordon who was a big stage star... but did you know hers was the first face ever seen on colour TV?... have a quick guess of the year her face was seen in colour on TV in the UK... i will post it later.. her face was used because of her amazing red hair..

[klondike]

Are you sure.BBC2 was the first all colour channel with a girl on the test card I think. ITV had colour adverts while most of. the programs were still black and white. As Crossroads had big viewing figures they most likely had colour early on though.

I remember Crossroads too, was it Benny the odd job man ?

[Mups]

That's right, Alex.   It was Benny.

(I tried to post a picture of him,  but it doesn't work?)

Wow!  I'd no idea colour was even thought of then.

For the animal lovers, another piece of music, about a dog this time.
