What are you good at?

Most people are good at at least something or other, aren't they?

So what do you reckon your skills are,  what do you know you are any good at?
Don't be bashful.

I admit I am not much good at anything that's really useful or handy in life.

Years ago I used to do a lot of dog training  (my own dogs, not other peoples),  and won quite a few competitions too.
I am also quite knowledgeable about plants and gardening.

But that's about the extent of my skills.    Bit sad, innit.   :hmm:

Spelling, mental arithmetic, people.  I worked in, and trained people how to deal with difficult situations, complaints etc.  I was a Samaritan years ago.  I know a bit about ceramics and hallmarks, so I'm useful at the charity shop!

Rubbish at most practical things, don't knit, sew, not into crafts, love books.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Several things I'm good at, several I'm crap at.
I was always a dancer and ended up teaching my love of Line Dance for over ten years until my knees stopped me. I used to swim for Perth when I was a teen, swam before I was at school my parents were both swimmers too.
I'm good at knitting and using graph paper to draw out my own designs. Also like Mups I'm good with animals, dogs and horses mostly. My parents were Founder Members of the old Tay Valley Dog Training Club and I have been training with them since I was a child. Both in Obedience and Ring Craft, and later in Agility with Dageus.

I'm not good at singing, sewing, or keeping a spotless house. I get bored easily and wander off, sometimes physically sometimes in my mind. I'm not good at fixing things if they break, I tend to buy another as I don't have the patience for it.

I'm outstanding at being modest.

Without being immodest, I'm very good at designing pipe organs.
Very good at speling, too.

It'd be nice if you actually allowed them into the house as well.  Food goes cold quickly after you've handed it out to them through the window.  😬😬

She'll get you you know! Be afraid, be very afraid....😱

Well, her method minimises the mess that visiting family can make, especially when she forks out for a portaloo.
