Not surprising his last post was picked on !  We're not all good at spelling and grammar, sometimes it's best to say nowt.

In which subject, many of us the word "nowt".  I'm sure it should really be "nought".

JB's normally good at knowing this sort of thing.

Yes, I'm sure it stems from 'naught'.  It's just the way we Yorkies pronounce it.
Rather similar for 'owt' meaning 'anything', probably from 'aught' which I don't think anyone uses now.

Hi sorry about the delay, my comp flinched at the reprimand, and refused to restart, so i needed a new battery and the lid hinges repaired i was out of the game for over a week it cost me £40 lol... can you imagine how much in the UK?   i am sorryif my grammar and spelling offends, perhaps just skip my drivel????....
the Monsoon can be wicked, i just catch the tail end, but the big plus is everything is green and luscious, and dust is minimal, the plus side is the warmth...lol.. from the weather and the locals, plus fellow travellers that i re-meet every year...there are plenty ladies, but like me are well past their sell-by date.. i am shocked at how many gay indians there are.they spot me a mile away [solo european, potential earner...lol] i find it difficult to ease them away politely.. everyone is highly entertained... i am not normally subjected to jet-lag but am struggling to sleep, i have a nite-light thing [TEMU] that plugs into USB and shines on the ceiling..lol.. my fav is the moon it is also bright enough to direct me to the little boys room... i wakened this morning at 7.50 i had a little debate on whether i needed the loo desperately or not, i blinked and it was 9.50... wow now i definately had to go, a quick splash of water on my face and i was sat at my table  by 10,00.. i have an electric scooter top speed about 80-85KPH.. they now have special face recognition cameras that check if the bike is taxed insured ect, i drive about a mile wide to avoid them...lol..they see a white face and its kerching how many rupees??? its 1000 [about a tenner]for riding without a helmet, i always wear one, but the indians are slow learners,,, some times four to a scooter...lol..

Good to see you posting again crabby - we thought you had gone into hiding.

Ah the ladies - the ones you see that look attractive to you probably won't share the same opinion of you. It's nature's way of protecting your heart.

In many ways I envy your ability to dodge our winters but If I went there I'd not know anybody or how to get things done and wouldn't have a clue where to start. I don't think this old dog is capable of that sort of new trick. Plus I'm not sure I could take the heat any more than I can our cold.

We get electric scooters on our paths but not that fast. Only hire ones are legal and only heavily restricted electric bikes and none are allowed on the path unless there is a cycleway marked. Not that it stops them or pedal cycles which aren't allowed either. Our police are far too busy finding posts on Twitter and Facebook they find offensive. A lot easier nicks there than getting off their arses looking for anybody riding on pavemants or shoplifting but you doubtless know all that anyway.

Have fun, don't catch anything nasty, then we'll see you back here when they boot you out.

Hi Crabby.... Good to see you.. and hear about you living the (good) life in Goa..
I haven't got a passport anymore.. So I am staying where I am..
If I won BIG money on the lottery I might be tempted to travel.. in style..
Maybe to....... Brighton.. x
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Ah the lottery, So many have that as their pension plan. I should have blown all my cash instead of paying in for one. Then I'd probably be getter off on pension credit with free rates, free TV licence and other freebies.
