the down side of India in the monsoon. i took this picture last year at this time in Chennai, i love it, it sums up the tropics, this poor bugger looks decidedly pissed off wi all of it.
i am in Goa just now and getting battered with the deluge [you cant call it rain]

oops itsnot opening... which demonstrates my technical ability, the picture if a drookit crow perched on a Sky Dish

Crabby use "postimages.org" to get your pics up. It's pouring here too has been for hours, we're waiting for a storm to hit, up to 70mph winds forecast.
Enjoy your time in Goa.
Where's your wee white westie?

I think the forum housekeeping dumps avatars for inactive users. I've dug it out from an old archive and added it.

If you deleted it crabby and want it gone just delete it again

no i think its great, thank for completeing my cycle...lol

yes when it rains here at least they use warm water..lol

the funny thing is that the monsoon signals the end of summer, whats left is classed as winter

xmas its below 30...lol.. ok quite a bit below, but on its worse day you never require a jacket..

the downside of Goa is the domestic tourists, most of India is hindu, and proper hindu's are all for Prohibition
every so often it raises its ugly head demanding it be made the law..
consequently the rebels head for Goa, mostly leaving their manners at home in their moms house,
the boys who wait on the tables get the brunt of their ignorance [and no tips]
I generally tip whats below 100/- if its well below depending on the service i leave a whole pound ROFL

i got 10,000 from the ATM it used to be one rupee =one penny but last week for 10,000 my bank took £79  i was amazed..

when i first came it was about 64 to the pound and we were quite rich. but now its about 130 to the pound i feel quite happy,

when i was last on this site i was averaging 500 rps for my evening meal and my alcohol now its closer to 900 but still...lol..

i generally get two friedeggs on toast for breakfast plus two cups of coffee 150/- being flash i give 200 which is about £1.50,

i generally just eat fruit for lunch and stay out of the sun then reappear after seven...

so please remind me why arent you all in the empty room next to mine?

Sorry Crabby,  but I find this not easy to read with  no paragraphs, no full stops, or capital letters,  just one 14 line long sentence.

You don't post on the other ship under the alias of 'Digitalis'  do you?     He writes exactly the same way.

Crabby posts more sense than Digi!

Crabby, I can see why the prices appeal to a fellow Scot, and even more to a Yorkie I think 😂

I'll never go that far now, in fact it's unlikely I'll use my passport again, unless Donny Airport offers flights to Scotland.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I don't doubt it, Granny.    A  5yr old could make more sense than Digi.

It's just I think posts are easier to read if they are broken down into sentences/paragraphs.

I tarted it up with a few space lines which make it easier on the eye (because I can). Makes perfect sense to me. Digitalis never did as I recall but was quite amusing to read.

I think my travelling days are done.
