Thanks everyone.
No, Dex.  It had to be operated on quickly because the bones had actually shattered.  Can't leave lots of bits of bones swimming about.
Yes, Ashy.  She hasn't clouted me since her fall, because her left hand is/was her fighting hand.  It was also her writing and drawing hand, but due to lots of practice, she is painting with her right hand now and her handwriting is almost legible.

Thanks for explaining JB.  Touch wood that she'll be allowed to drive soon. 🤞🏻

I hope so, because she won't let me drive now.  She thinks I'm going doolally!

So her good judgement hasn't been affected then? 😬

Certainly not.
She loves me and holds me in the highest regard in all respects.  In fact, marrying me was the best thing she has ever done, and would certainly do it again if the opportunity arrived again.

You know that bit about her thinking you're going doolally, well she might be onto something there 😬😬

Anyway, moving on and kinda vaguely related to the thread title... have any of you heard about the benefits of spinning?  Not riding a gym bike, but more of a whirling dervish thing.

I recall reading about it years ago, and that Bruce Forsyth was a strong advocate of it.
