Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Israel handed Britain intelligence about the suspected terror plot. Mr Netanyahu said his country warned UK authorities about the "Iranian-sponsored attack" shortly before Britain's announcement of a ban on trade with Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

I can well understand that.  I'm afraid that this country is becoming increasingly dangerous simply because our wonderful government likes to invite dangerous people from France across the Channel.
I feel that we should regard the Israelis as not only friends but also as allies.  More importantly though, we really need to be rid of this government and begin to make our country again the safe nation it once was before mass illegal invasion.

OK in the old days when it was just hippy camps but the new lot are quite capable of using a dirty bomb on account of Mr, Trump failing to finish the war he started with Iran. My opinion is based on the fact that the Israelis, and the Jews living here, have never tried to start any trouble.  Yes, some argue that Israel is attacking neighbouring states, but if we look more closely, we see that the root cause of that is the fact that the neighbouring states (or some of them) have been attacking Israel in one way or another for years.

Absolutely correct, as we now seem to have very few armed forces of our own.
We desperately need a strong ally these days.  We should keep them friendly.
