On this day 25 years ago the world changed forever .

I remember hearing talk about this at work. I thought it must be a light plane when I first heard one had crashed into the World Trade Centre and was wondering how it could have happened. Nobody knew much about it initially. Quite why it provoked a war in Iraq is a bit of a mystery as are where are all those weapons of mass destruction Blair was telling us about.

Arab Spring along with Islamic State and huge numbers of illegal migrants all followed directly on although I think Blair may have already opened the gates for mass legal migration by then. Certainly the Germans are pondering Angela Merkel's legacy now and I doubt all that many fondly recall her as Mutti.

I remember where I was when this tragedy happened..
  I shall never forget the the horror as it unfolded on the tv..

Nor will I .
I was in my brothers house .
My son rang up and said Mum switch on the TV .
We did and were just in time  to see the second plane slam into the towers.
It's was so shocking and terrible I knew then that the world would never be the same .

Yet .......

I'm beginning to calm down about these, and other, recent changes to our once-proud country.

I'm not sure how many years I have left.  I am 74 and have several medical conditions including Type 2 diabetes, a pacemaker, and on five daily oral medications.
I'm perfectly happy at the moment, though, but the things that are now happening in this country, since Labour took control, especially our being "overrun with islamist freaks", are beginning to make me wonder what the next few years will bring.

Whatever happens, I am concerned for my wife, who is nine years younger than me and, of course, other decent British people.  

There is nothing I can do other than vote for Reform UK in, or hopefully before, 2029.

The lesser of all evils JBR?

I suppose Reform could turn out to be the lesser of all evils, which would be logically acceptable.  However, I feel that Reform will (if elected to government) begin to restore much good of what this our country once possessed.  Exactly how much they can eventually put right is anybody's guess, but I can think of no other political party which could do better.
