Does anyone still have a high level flushing cistern? Nobody seems to have them any more but you got such a nice strong flush with them. No wonder our country's gone down the toilet.

Mups

What the 'ecks a high level flush, Ashy?

Is pulling the chain like we did as kids called 'high level'?

All I know is I push the handle down and it flushes.   Yes! smiley 15

I never knew they were called a high level flush.

Well I've learned something today   - and No,  I haven't still got one.

The current ones were called low level flush. It was once a feature highlighted by estate agents.

They were able to cut down on the size of the antenna and the low-level ones work just as well for that. I can guarantee that having used both types myself. Far better than the stand up sink type which tend to block.
