Any bits of clear paper I use as jotting paper.
So when I received a  Car insurance renewal reminder it too went to be used for jotting down stuff..
On clearing out all the bits of scrap paper my eyes went to the message underneath the words Car Insurance Renewal.
'We regularly review the types of risks we are willing to insure, and unfortunately some of your details no longer fall within our accepted criteria. We will therefore not be able to continue your policy cover from the renewal date shown above'...

What !!!   I frantically searched the internet for another insurer..   What a carry on.. Lots of details were asked about the motor.. I had to sort through papers to find out information.. I phoned some mates asking who they were insured with.. What a carry on..
I then thought.. How dare my insurers , who I have been using for many years , just drop me..
I phoned them.. ready for action.. How dare they do that.. I have never made a claim.. never had a ticket.. nor jumped a red light.. I admit that I can not do reverse parking .. but that's about it..
I said all this to the guy on the end of the phone.. A lovely guy .. He  informed me that my car was fully insured.. Automatic renewal accepted..
Because of a computer error many people had been sent these letters..
He apologised .... Phew!!! the relief..

An absolute peach.

I have no problems with jotting paper. None of my family have a printer because they don't need one. The reason they don't need one is because they know I still have one. I don't remember when I last needed to print anything for myself. When I do print something for one or other of them there is a good chance that the nozzles will be at least a bit blocked so that's paper from the failed print, paper from the cleaning routine and more from the check page before printing again.

I do have a reporter notebook too but it's a cold old day in hell before I work my way down to that.

Seeing that I recall I also use any decent sized packing slips, begging letters from the BBC etc.

Prints are sensitive at the drop of a hat they don't want to play .
