I am sure that i read recently that a man in Canada died after being refused a transplant because he wasn't protected by the covid jab..
However the hospital asked the widow if she would donate his organs.. !!!!

He was a young family man....How sad is that...

He is the someone I wish had been taken ill while (visiting) this country.. Our hospitals would have treated him..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Mups

You mean the hospital  let this man die just because he'd had no Covid jab, Scrumps?
I can hardly believe that.
And then they had the nerve to ask for a donation of his organs???

If that is really what happened,  that is way beyond disgusting if they wouldn't operate without vaccination,  and yet they thought his organs were safe to take without any vaccination.
Unbelievable!

Yes... he was refused a transplant...
I wish I could find the link..

Thank you Mups.. I have just found it too..
  How sad is that...!!
Despite two of his brothers volunteering to donate, no doctor would perform the surgery..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

There must surely be more to this. It's just unbelievable.

How disappointing.  I have always regarded Canada as a rather more English version of the US.
I wonder how the Canadians themselves are regarding this decision?
I'd also be interested to find out how the Canadian people feel about their health service.

It's very sad but he's not the first one to be denied surgery in Canada for this same reason.  What is baffling is the request for his organs !!!

Some pretty mad things happened in that time. the daftest must have ben closing the beaches and sending policemen after people on the beach. So it's entirely credible that a sick man was allowed to die.

This was in the news a couple of days ago... It is recent..

Maybe not - I needed eye surgery in 2024 - and our hospital refused to do it until I had had the Covid jabs.

Very sad for that poor man, and deplorable that they then had the nerve to ask for his organs.

I haven't read the story but maybe the denied op was back in the covid period, it was too late after and he has now just succumbed.

I can't believe that people would be denied needed treatment now. Doubly so as it seems the jabs did more harm than good and imo are only being offered still because they are doubling down on the failure.

How interesting..  I never knew that..

Apparently the same rule applies in (some) hospitals in the US... Concerning transplants ..

I have never been to Canada and never want too .
It's too cold and are too many bears there .
Apart from the fact that many Canadians are insufferably smug and woke .
