Hedgehogs

Last night I had a magical evening .
My friend invited me around to her back patio where every night hedgehogs turn up to eat the food she puts out for them ( kitten kibble ) and drink water .
four appeared and seemed completely unbothered by us . We were sat there and they came right up to us at at times only 6 inches from our feet .
They are the cutest little things .
They are the first hedgehogs I have seen this year ,

I haven't seen any here for years,  apart from the poor road kill ones.

After my night with the hedgehogs I was so enthused I made a home made dog proof hedgehog feeder .
Only thing is I didn't know if it was hedgehogs or something else .
Tonight I saw it was indeed a hedgehog .

One more little soul being fed and watered.

Hope it doesn't encourage rats as well though,  that's the only thing that would worry me.
