I have just heard on tonight's news,  that a boy of 15 is in court, charged with 22  sexual offences against young girls.    FIFTEEN YEARS OLD!

What is the matter with these youngsters?   AND  he's been 'at it'  since he was only 12!!

I couldn't help but wonder how he got away with this for 3 years,   unless of course,  the girls were not believed by anyone.

Quote:

" A 15-year-old boy from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, was charged with 22 sexual offences, including multiple counts of rape against girls under the age of 13 and between 13 and 15.
He was ordered to appear at Wellingborough Youth Court to face allegations spanning a three-year period."

!2 years old..!!!!
We were playing 'rounders' in the street and 'war' games in the park..
Ferns being our weapons...
We went ghost hunting for the Grey Lady who was said to have drowned in the lake..

Kids aren't kids anymore...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

That Grey Lady gets about. She walks the balcony of an Abbey here. Apparently.

Why wasn't he stopped after the first offence?

Probably nothing slipped out till recently. It may have all been consensual. As all the girls are under 16 they can't legally consent so the charge is rape.

Someone who is that pre-occupied with sex at 12 yrs old,  and I mean preoccupied enough to actually do something about it - repeatedly -  won't ever change in my opinion.

Most sex offenders we see in papers and the news etc,  are repeat offenders, or have always shown those tendencies at least.

They get put away eventually  (often then trying their luck with the female prison officers too),  and when they eventually get let out,  they go back to the same behaviour it again.    You hear this all the time.

This is precisely  why,  ( and most men won't agree with me),  but repeat offenders must be surgically castrated.

When owners take their young dogs for their bits to be surgically removed,  they hardly even question it  -  and the poor dog has done thing wrong even -   yet when it comes to their own 'bits'  being  chopped off they think very differently!    It would be an excellent deterrent too.

It's all down to the evils of social media and bad parenting.

Yes, FB,  I don't doubt for one minute that social media has a big influence,   although rape and those who couldn't keep it in their trousers have always been about, probably long before social media ever was.
Women  speak up for themselves far more these days though.

This sounds terrible and maybe I am wrong but were they never disciplined as a child.?
They don't start off being rapists I'm sure they probably started off doing lesser misdemeanours .
People think that children who were badly treated as children repeat the behaviour but do they ?
Many brutalised children go the other way and treat their children with love and kindness .
On the other hand some really  spoilt children  would no doubt be improved by a good hiding .
This can be seen in the rude ignorant mobs on our streets every weekend screaming at policemen .
If they experienced some actual physical pain they might not feel that they can behave so badly .
If painful consequences were the result they might actually stop and put their slow entitled brains into gear.

Is the perpetrator a white British 15 year old  ?  asking for a friend.........

klondike

I'm guessing so as there is a prosecution

Resurrecting this thread,  I saw in the local paper a day or two back,  that this 15 yr old has been in court and is now referred to the Crown Court.

His alleged crimes are even worse than I read before.  The paper says:

* Quote:

12 counts of sexually assaulting a female.
3 counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching.
1 count of raping a girl under 13.
1 count of assaulting a female 13 and over penetration.
1 count of raping a girl aged 13-15.
2 counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo photograph of a child.
1 count of possessing a prohibited image of a child.
1 count of possessing extreme pornographic image/images portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead/alive animal.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges!

Unbelievable isn't it.   A lad still at school age.   Frightening stuff.

The boys I was at school with weren't like that .
Looking back we were all incredibly well behaved .
Must have been the Catholic school .

They didn't have access to all the stuff online that kids are exposed to nowadays.  There's a storyline in Corrie (I still watch it) about a young girl who's had a stroke because her boyfriend put pressure on her neck when they were having consensual sex.  Seemingly it's a 'thing'.

It's always been a programme that comments on relevant societal issues, but I doubt any teens watch it.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Marge and I always watch the reruns of old Coronation Street, which to my mind was much better than the present-day run.  I have no wish to watch the new ones.  I did try once, but it just didn't come across as believable and I think they are running out of ideas too.  Going by this particular storyline you mention, it doesn't do anything for me.
