When I said 'With these wise words in mind bring back
 M&S' I meant for me... It was tongue in cheek..

I think the PM wife is glamorous.. She isn't 'showy'..
The Beckham dress wasn't right for her.. But I felt sorry for her.. The way her dress made headlines.. And many nasty remarks..from the public... Mainly women.. I might add..

Samantha Cameron had an M &  S dress on . ( admittedly tailored  a bit ) when her husband was elected .
So the public make  remarks that's what happens when you are in the public eye.
I feel that it was somewhat tactless to wear  a £890 ( now reduced to £620) dress when you're husband is supposedly representing the working man and family and is about to tax the nation ever more.
I must have got it wrong .
I have never paid £890  for a dress
 I would not have bought that for £15 from Primark .

However
She did wear a M&S outfit ( £35) when he was first elected and it looked ok

I see that Dawn French is sounding off about it .
She must be one of Marks and Spencer's biggest advertising mistakes .

I didn't much like it I must admit,  but to have half the country  picking you to bits like vultures  must be so very hurtful.

We can't expect her to only wear clothes that complete strangers might approve of,   I know I wouldn't!
