Look at this great look in a pant suit by Gabby Logan at the World Cup
Simple tailored and classy with a white shirt
Ok everyone doesn't have a figure like Gabby  Logan but a well tailed suit can only improve .
Angela Rayner could carry this off
Instead of her usual messy look with that hair all over the place .
It doesn't make them look bussiness like and members of the cabinet  need to look business like .
They are running the country after all

Now this lady would have looked nicer and cooler in a dress she has a nice face and lovely hair
Ok you don't judge the chief whip on her face or hair style but those trousers would look awful even if worn by a tall man.
They don't in any way complement the top bit .
Which looks like half a school uniform

Or if you must wear pants 
This would have looked better than the painters trousers .
And it costs just under £50

If you're in the public eye then I think these women should make an effort to at least look smart !  It's not as though they're short of money.   This is a beautiful dress and the last photo was a bit unkind, she looks much better here, but I still think it's a shame about the hair  !

I must say I think that dress is more evening wear,  than day wear,  but that is only my own personal opinion.

One thing is certain -picture editors are more likely to pick pictures that stand out and often they will not be flattering. Think about police mugshots - they always make the subject appear to be a wrong 'un and I imagine that is deliberate too.

News photographers, police photographers and wedding photographers all need to develop skillsets to suit their customers wishes.
