Dropped off to sleep and had the most horrendous dream .
I was in London ( but it was a wild slum like town) with my two little boys and my dog and lost them all and my bag and backpack .
My terror was so great my heart is pounding still .
Boy was I glad to wake up !

Must be that  half a cream bun I ate at tea time !

Sounds horrid, Muddy.  Hope your headache goes soon.

I had a worse dream - Burnham proves to be even worse than Starmer - and I had it whilst awake!

I was saying on another thread that I have been having some nasty dreams ...
I am always lost and looking for my family.. My legs will not move and I remain on the spot..
I had one where I was in a big house.. where we lived as kids..
I went in to many rooms but couldn't find the way out..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I am always trying to get somewhere but can't .
Natures way of stopping us running about like headless chickens while we are asleep .

Alex

Mine always involve water, I'm trying to escape but it's catching me up then I wake.  I can't swim by the way

Water is scary.. It frightens me..

I am the worst swimmer .
I sort of do a mix of crawl breast stroke and doggy paddle .

I  rarely remember dreams, can't recall the last time.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

sometimes they can be just boring. Once dreamt I was shaving with my electric razor

I'm a bit like that too, Scrumpy,  but with good reason.

When I was about 11 years old or thereabouts,  we used to go swimming with the school.  One week,  a horrible kid held my head under water.
I remember seeing Mum's face appear in front of me.
I really thought I was going to leave this world.    I have never forgotten it.

Makes me wonder where the teachers, instructors, and life savers were at the time!
